WHAT OUR CAMPERS HAVE TO SAY….

 C. 12 Southwest Philly

“I really like this camp because I get to experience new activities that you don’t normally do in the city, such as: horseback riding, archery, and tree climbing. I also liked camp because you get to meet new people and learn different things.”

O. 12 Southwest Philly

“I like this camp because this is a small camp where counselors can focus one on one with us and help us on our spiritual life.  This camp taught me we can pray every night, pray constantly, and maybe one day it will happen.

D. 11 Landsdowne, PA

“I like this camp because they encourage me and they help me when I am feeling down, and taught me new things that I didn’t know before. My counselors were really nice, and the food was really good. The canoeing was fun and the pool was amazing. I would definitely come back next year.”

“My time here at camp has really got me more towards God, and it’s really helped me find the right group of friends instead of hanging with the wrong crowd.  Camp Melody showed me God’s Word and also gave me a fun time at the same time.”

N. 13 Southwest, Philly

“Camp Melody did a lot in my life. They changed my life to worship The Lord. When I went to camp melody my family was messed up, my step mom and dad broke up and we was going through hard times. One day I camp home my brothers told me “dad got hurt at his job” I was so mad at God I didn’t even want to praise him no more. I started doing sinful things. Then I went to Camp Melody. When I was there it was one of the best summer days of my life!!God worked in my life and he still is. One night we were having chapel and Mrs Dawn told “God is not dead in your life he’s still working in your life” and it really touched me I started praying asking God for forgiveness. When I came back from camp I started telling more people about God and his greatness.

I learned a lot of fun stuff at Camp Melody, like how to shoot a gun, Archery, Tree Climbing, and etc. But one of the most important things I learned was the Bible and how I should live my life, and that I should respect others. Over the week at camp, I grew a bigger relationship with God. I learned about Forgiveness and Unity.
